Theology of the Secret Teachings of JesusBuried deep in almost all Western theology is the unstated assumption that the conventional conception of Jesus is the only possible point of view. It is an historical fact that conventional Christian theology was developed hundreds of years after the appearance of Jesus Christ. Yet none of the schisms or attempts at reformation of Western Christianity seriously questioned that assumption; they were simply playing the same game for a different team. The life story and teachings of Jesus in the Gospels are incomplete: the Gospels themselves admit this.
There are also many indications that Jesus reserved certain teachings for his confidential inner circle that were not given out to the masses. Thus the theology and practices of the Western Church for the last 20 centuries have been based on incomplete knowledge, just a fragment of the actual teaching of Jesus Christ. Perhaps because these viewpoints and assumptions are so deeply embedded in our culture, language and logic, we never think to examine them. Even those who style themselves atheists are merely rebels against the same point of view on God. Perhaps it is because the architects of this theology suppressed other viewpoints so throughly that we never had a viable alternative—until now. The Secret Teachings of Jesus are not based on conventional fragmentary Western theology. Rather, they embody the philosophy of a much older school descended from the Celestial Christ: the ancient Esoteric Teaching. This magnificent spiritual path is the complete teaching of the Celestial Christ, propagated throughout the universe in his heavenly form since the beginning of creation. Are we so shortsighted and narrow-minded to actually believe that God had not provided any means of spiritual advancement or salvation to the uncountable millions of people who lived in the millenia from the creation of the worlds until the advent of Lord Jesus Christ on this planet? Did God suddenly discover His transcendentally merciful nature a mere 20 centuries ago? Or is the all-knowing, ever-compassionate soul of the universe forever inclined to revive our forgotten spiritual nature and mercifully rescue His dear children from the dark well of material existence? God, being eternal, is absolute, changeless and Supreme. Let us not slight His most excellent character: He does not suddenly change His nature or revise His policies. At all times and in all places, He makes arrangements for the enlightenment and salvation of His created beings. When we take off the blinders so cleverly fashioned by motivated theologians, and see God as He really is. Thus through the loving spiritual vision of His most dear Son Jesus Christ, we realize the true magnitude of God's unlimited eternal greatness.
